Boring, Boring... I wonder whether the 2nd phase of my life is going to be that boring again... If it is, I have certainly wasted by whole life. I just realised that 4 days (12h) per day is enough to catch up 2 mths of work. Tat is, if you have pure determination, pure strength, pure motivation, th list goes on. I think I only have 40% of it. bleah.. Life is certainly veryvery very boring for now. I hate this blog, I want to change the skin. I will when I have the time.

Digressing, I am going USA!! 2days after fyp presentation. I was afraid there might be change of plans, so din tell much ppl. As I realised its so hard to confirm a trip. Before that I had actually wanted to go aus with May and Ting, say so much plan so much tell so many ppl. In the end, never go. So paiseh and so shitty. Then i wanted to go hk with anne and her friend. Again, also never go. =( so now usa is confirm cos pay money liao mah.. Still haven give May her books...

Its interesting how different NUS and NTU students are. NTU students (I am refering to Engine students) certainly does not read as many essays as NUS student. Writing or reading is not part of their curriculum. So their view of life is more practical and is seen as figures and logical reasoning. Art, what is is? The nearest form of cultural involvement would have to be the CAC concert held by those mainstream singers. Of course, not everyone are like that. But I just like to state a point that the curriculum does not train up people of that calibre. Sad, it certainly is a great pity. I wonder whether the 4 years of grilling on maths and science produce wholesome beings, or just robots with a set of instructions and equations to follow.

I broke the rule of talking too much yet again. Too easily hyper is my main flaw. All the while I felt that I should listen and I did too little of it. Maybe I just care far too much abt how ppl think of me. Or maybe I really ought to change.

Just finished researching on propulsion system of airplanes and roller coaster. Loads to put into logbook. Got to design a runway propulsion system for aircraft to reduce required takeoff distance. I was thinking that roller coaster propulsion engine could be of great help since it can propel large loads at great speed. All these mainly using the hydraulic system.

I just decided my topic on the indivdual project for Art of War: The nine types of terrain. Maybe I will post it when I finished.

Catapult Launch
In some newer coaster designs, the train is set in motion by a catapult launch. There are several sorts of catapult launches, but they all do basically the same thing. Instead of dragging the train up a hill to build up potential energy, these systems start the train off by building up a good amount of kinetic energy in a short amount of time.

One popular catapult systems is the linear-induction motors. A linear-induction motor uses electromagnets to build two magnetic fields -- one on the track and one on the bottom of the train -- that are attracted to each other. The motor moves the magnetic field on the track, pulling the train along behind it at a high rate of speed. The main advantages of this system are its speed, efficiency, durability, precision and controllability.

I'm an agressive driver.. On normal days its 90 km/h. Otherwise its 110-120. I tot it was no big deal. I watched Fast and Furious. They drive 110-120, and it was real damn fast. I tot hey, its just 110-120, how can it be that fast? But apparantly, I was the the problematic person.. I met an accident.

I don't know why I am still surfing rubbish blogs and writing this rubbish thing. I have so much more important things to do. Some ppl think blogs are a waste of time. I agree to a certain extent, but it can actually be quite therapeutic for me. With a blog, you know what kind of shitty life you are leading as you record down details of your life. When you realise that you have nothing to write, you will realise how shitty your life is. To add on to all the writing I have to do, I actually took Journalism as a GE. Huiying, Journalism?? My grammar sucks like he**, I wonder how I am actually going to go through it. To think that even Wilson is teaching English tution. So, I really got no excuse for my bad english in the future.

Besides Journalism, I have a whole load of subjects. My FYP seems quite easy, but to get A you still must work hard. Its no longer the Fullerene subject as there is a change. Its call " Rheology and dynamics of stimuli-Responsive microgel systems". Sounds scary, but Rheology actually stands for Viscosity. Dynamics just come about because of the equipment use to measure the viscosity of the microgel by adding a force to the spinning microgel. Its a collaborative project with some ppl in USA and the microgel have to be obtain from there. Anyway, I believe it doesn't makes a difference.

I want to do well so badly since its my last year. A pee size brain really have limits. When you get out of school, people do judge you from the honours that you get. Hence the importance of your certificate.

Haha... So that is just what I wish. Hopefully when I come back agian, I am proud to say I have done my best.

I have extended my IA... And the pay is really neat... i'm surprise abt the pay they offer. They're really nice and I'm so afraid of disappointing them. I dun really think I am that capable. So the stress is there..

It seems that everyone says North Indians are fairer as compared to the South Indians.. I dun know how valid this is. But I know North India is famous for their tendori while South India is famous for their rice... If you like curry, try Indian's curry as they do not taste flat like chinese curry. As compared to just curry powder and coconut milk, Indian curry has more complex aroma thanks to its many spices.

For North Indian cuisine, Singapore has the Heritage located at Bukit Timah, just beside Guthrie House . It looks quite posh. I have not been there, but my friends say its not bad. Furthermore, it is recommended by many food connossiours and featured in many magazines. It has also won many awards..

For south Indian cusine, try Muthu's curry at Race Course Road. I have been there, but the place is more family oriented kind. Quite noisy. The curry, heavenly.

I'm really scared... Everyone seems to be talking abt FYP when its still next year.. Seems like alot of things to do. Worse of all I do not have a hall.. Shit.. I want hall 16 bAdLy... Its almost impossible to study at home cos once I start school I will mug.. And I mean serious mugging. No TV during weekdays. Weekends go library. Now got FYP?!? haiz... I want IA to get A!!! But I have no time. Every weekends also go out. I really must restraint myself and start to think about how I am going to complete this project. Also start doing my report and produce a better logbook cos my tutor and sup seems quite picky... OH NO!!!! So after today outing, tmr movie, next sat outing to Compass ross + next sat mahjong outing. I AM GoINg To MUG! Plus reach office at 8 am so can complete project on time.. Cos once I was in office till 6.30, (Office hours till 5.45 ) they were already asking me why I am still in the office.. Actually I was meeting someone at 7. Hence can you imagine what if I was really doing my project till late hours in the office.. So a better strategy is to reach early since no people will be around..

Its supposed to be my J1 class gathering today.. But it seems like they rarely have a sucessful gathering.. So far this is the 4th one, but the turnup rate is quite bad.. Esp the gals side. And tonight, the class gathering will become a guys gathering from class gathering.. I would have gone if only more gals attend. If I did not go, its not that bad as I am only with the class for 1 year. Then I drop Bio to take Chem, Phy, Maths. But What abt the rest? Dun they feel like seeing each other, catching up with one another? Or are they really that busy that they cannot even take out some time? I dunno.. But I pity the one who organise the outing so relentlessly. I feel guilty not going. Its also nice to catch up with friends.. but.. But no, I'm not an aethist.

The classic arguements for religious revelations have always centred on three main branches of Epistemology, namely the Cosmological arguement for God, the Teleological argumentation and finally the Ontological Arguementation for the existential nature of God.

Today, all three major arguements have been refuted quite decisively by contemporary philosophers.

The Cosmological arguement seeks to establish that in order to better understand our place in this Universe, we may begin by asking the classic question: "Where did we come from?" One would deliberate that we came from our parents who in turn came from our grandparents and the list goes on in an infinite regress. Upon reaching 10, 9, 8,....2,..etc, we relent that the Initiator Himself must be the entity, we call God. For the Gospel says, "In the Beginning, there was the Word" or that which the Qur'an claims: "We created you from nothing. Be! And so it shall!"

Now, the proponents for these arguements would admit they employed a mathematical infinite regress. Since the tool is dynamic, one should not conveniently conclude at 0, for the tool requires one to move further to -1, -2 and so forth. Not only is this arguement fallacious, it fails to proof the premise that it seeks to affirm, that is Man ensue from God. Nonetheless, this arguement is still taught in Theology Schools today.

The second classic arguement to proof that God exists is the arguement from Design. This is a hotly debated arguement since the last century. It seeks to establish that there must indeed be a Creator that would amazingly create creatures of immense diversity, and with such acute precision. However, this arguement aims to show that there is a Creator. Again, the conclusion does not support the premise in that it may suggest a potential Designer but not necessarily a Creator. Creationism is not proven although this was the aim in mind. The reason is that one cannot conveniently conclude that a Designer translates to a Creator. This can be clearly seen in the case of how our new Biological Science campus was built. The School of Biological Science was built by Bangladeshis and Chinese workers but it was designed by Singaporean architects. Here, the Designer is not necessarily the same Creator. Hence this arguement also fails.

The last arguement for the existence of God is the Ontological arguement. This is arguement from existence. We imagine in our minds that there is indeed a Creator. However, none of us have seen God Himself. A man may have in his mind the idea of $300 in his pocket. But whether this cash actually exist in his pocket is a different matter altogether. There exists an unbridgeable gulf between what is in the mind and what is in objective reality. Here, God is but a concept.

All these arguements have been refuted albeit theological institutions are still propounding such propositions.

Today, religion is in need of a higher order of thought to justify its premises.

Freedom is an illusion. Life is too short to be wasted.

I have been staring at the computer for 12 hrs almost daily!... After learning autocad for ~ 3 weeks, I am now doing programing using Excel. After work, I watch TV and sailormoon videos.. Plus upkeep of my blog. Shess.. my eye seems to be straining too much.. My head is like bursting, cos the I keep looping the excel eqn until so complicated. Now i dun even know what I am doing.. I got a date to complete... Shess... My tag board and counter are not working... I want to change my scroll bar to yellow... I want to chnage my music as it does not auto play! But only way to do it is to upload songs into geocity and the only way is to sign up with them.. So mafan.. I still haven got to it yet. But I really like my skin now. Bright and cheery! I really think my eyesight has increased... I am around having a degree of 600 plus for each eye !! Time for lasek... hoho..

Its been so long since I last blog. This is going to be a short one.. I have been so busy lately.. 8.30 - 5.45... But I usually end up returning at 8.. cos I keep going out. So how's my IA.. I am quite surprise.. I really learn alot alot of things, even when I was not assigned any job since my supervisor is still in Korea and will be back tomorrow. The people there are so helpful and friendly. Can you imagine I din even have to ask anyone and some were actually so nice to come over and give me some intro to the company. And mind you, there are not obliged to. I dun even know wat's my jobscope then! I actually get to know how this whole company works.

Anyway, I work in Sulzer ChemTech. Its a very big MNC... Its headquarters is at Switzerland Wintherthur. Singapore German Center is the Asiapacific headquarters for countries like Taiwan, Thailand, Aus, China, Myanamar... Its call ApaAsia and I work there. We produce Static Mixers, polymer system and packings for tower field(oil distillation).. And there is this whole stack of file that I need to read through... Now, I know how an engineering Organisation works... Furthermore, I got to learn abt Autocad to assist the sales engineer in case I am posted to Projects.. Right now, I need to learn abt the technical aspect more static mixer. Way cool.. I can see myself as an engineer.. They should have more IA. haha.. Or maybe i am just lucky..

When I have nothing to do, I am prone to munch the yummy chocloates bought by Anne.. Such a sinful indulgence.. And to think that I wanna do 100 seat-ups a day after seeing my PR school mate Suzhen voluptuous body.. I never like chocolates, but this is different. Its laced with peanuts and flown from US. Its not too sweet. Its so creamy and smooth in the mouth. At the same time its salty with the peanut butter.. omg, I dun wanna get hook on chocolates..

Almost none of my friends except Laine saw my BD photos b4..haha.. I know Its like so long.. sorry, as back then I have some problems with MSN in my hostel.. So I think its better that I show a few photos right here.... Actually I have a video of it with much clearer photos, but its too big. So hmmm if u want to see it then come my house loh.. haha

For the record, I never celebrate New year in secondary school, up till JC1. Its only till I get out Of JC then I start to celebrate it. But I have never been to Orchard road for the celebration.. cos
1)I hate crowds
2)Its really Rowdy
3)I have heard of all the notorious gropings
4)I prefer to hang out with just my friends
So far, I only celebrate New year for 4 times.
1)I host a party at my house
2)I went clubbing
3)I went to a chalet
4)I went esplanade..
And this year, three of us spend 50+ eating at Bi Feng Gang in BP plaza. Sweet.
But sometimes I do wonder why I spend so much eating. Anyway the money spend all ends up in the toilet bowl. Imagine, 50 dollars flush down. Plus 80 dollars flush down again come Jan. And I just feel more and more of a glutton. Maybe I do need a rest after all the excess eatting.. Or I won't be able to eat happily in Bangkok.
Saying so much, I am still going to enjoy my carrot cake later..

My maid of 8 years has gone and my Snoopy has been acting really wierd these few days. He just refused to sleep in his 'home' and he keeps walking and looking around at night in the living room. Its going to be 2006, but i dun think i will be celebrating it this year. Come to think of it, its pretty boring. Unless you are talking about meeting up with old friends. But its a pretty tough thing since we are all busy with our own things and have new friends.Friends come and go. Its a sad thing but it happens.Altough there are few rare ones who can survive all the trials since pR school till today. When school reopen, we are soso busy sometimes its even hard to take a breath. Esp this year. Year 4 will certainly be crazy. If you join any activities, it will be very tiring. So I finally quit ice-skating.. Of course there are few who manage to maintain an active hall life and still manage to get their Ass. I call them " Shen". Those who are being prayed on the altar and we mortal beings get help from once in a while. Honestly, if you want to get Ass in Uni, forget about having a life. This is Singapore, not Australia or Usa.

On one hand I really wish to end Uni life and have a life not just bout studying but also leading a more fulfiling life. It will soon come, but maybe by then I will become a workaholic.. sharks.. On another hand, I will miss my friends and sometimes studying can also be fulfiling. Like being able to complete certain problems and getting your results after all the crammings. That feeling is one of a kind. But I still want to leave my books for once in my life.

Oh ya, I am going to Bangkok this new year. So far I have been to Langkawi, Bintan, Redang, Japan and Indonesia. Its be second time to Bangkok. But that was when I accompany my dad for business..And its real boring. My second time gonna be exciting cos I really look forward to Chutuchuk market and Suan Lum market. Plus all the yummy food like shark fin, Lo Yu shen,(Thais are great with it and its so much cheaper) and crabs.. Who want Prezzzies??

Hmm.. I haven link everyone's blog yet.. Maybe by next mth bah. Not alot of ppl my age blogs also.. haha.. ok, i'm not old. Certainly not.

I can't believe my eyes... My heart keep pounding. I am finally on the right track after 3 years!! For the record, I actually could get 6 Bsss. Dunno whether its because of the new grading method. Starting I was a little upset as my mind over stress and Biz Finance didn't get A. But 6 Bsss well, i totally forgot abt it. Just one ugly C+ and D+. hehe.. i really am blessed. So next time I should continue to be consistent, attentive, Kiasu and be friends with lecturer. Ass here I come! lalala

HoHOHo... I am so proud of myself...!! I did this whole new template by myself. But it took me one day.. hmmmm.. So if anyone wanna a new template, can find me.. haha, then i can earn some money. I know it look quite of bimbolicious, but i like it. haha.. too pinky, but still nice. just worried abt the glass slipper.(too bimbo?) And the title 'the new shangri-la'. (too cheesy) issit?? see my counter?? my first attempt in doing a website, pretty please and its real fun. After all this practicing, i will be able to set up my own website when i want to sell clothes! hmm, so i will practice it once in a while. Till then, I gotta practice my microsoft Excel and maybe acess. cos IA starting soon.. And tidy my ROOM!

Hmmm.. What should i write for my first posting... I have been quite free these few days since I will start my IA next month. Thus I have the free time to start a blog. Only all things that are nice will makeit to my blog. I want to have something to remember and smile at. My siblings and lots of friends already have a blog. I am quite a tortoise in this aspect.. This template is pretty boring, i will change it soon.. up till then, i will just stick to it.

My room is pretty like a rubbish dump now after I had move everything out from my hostel.. Hopefully I will be able to finish packing by tomorrow, and when I have earn some $$, I will renovate my room.. I have been procrastinating too much.. Just seen from the newspaper some pretty decor. That is just what I want for my dream home. Total marmerlicious!!
